Save wildlife: Ban glyphosate from local green spaces
Our local parks, gardens, and playgrounds should be safe havens for nature. Instead, they’re being poisoned by glyphosate - a toxic pesticide sold in garden centres and used by local councils to kill wild plants and flowers. While pesticide giants make billions, Britain’s iconic bees, birds and hedgehogs are paying the price.
The licence to use glyphosate in the UK expires in December, but the UK government looks likely to renew it. Ministers face a critical choice: protect nature or prioritise industry profits.
France and other EU countries have already banned glyphosate from being used in gardens and public green spaces. Add your name if you agree the UK should do the same.
